In 2019, Chris Baccash finished his hometown’s Pro Cycling Race with a personal best time. Chris and his team looked forward to what next season could bring – a legendary mountain bike race in Leadville, CO at the top of their list. Four months later came a devastating diagnosis for Chris, life-saving surgeries, and a global pandemic. Our story follows Chris’ journey through his adversity and across the finish line with the support of family, friends, and community.

Since its completion, Mountains We Climb has played in a series of regional film festivals, won the Best Of Fest Award at the Bucks Fever Film Fest ‘23, and has played at private corporate events with a Q&A following the film. The discussion offers audience members the unique opportunity meet Chris, hear him expand on his experience, and how he applies positive psychology to the adversities of life.
